‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌STREMBITSKY SCHOOL COUNCIL

Welcome to your School Council. It is our mission to foster the well-being and effectiveness of our School community  to enhance student learning.

Your School Council is a collaborative group of parents, guardians, teachers, principal, staff, and community members. Parental involvement in School Council and its initiatives plays an important role in the students’ success.  Every parent or guardian of a child at the Michael Strembitsky School is automatically a member of our School Council.

It is the responsibility of the School Council to advise the school staff and principal on issue of importance. These can include the School philosophy, mission and vision,  discipline policies,  improvement plans, programs, directions and budget allocations to meet student needs.

The School Council would like to see and hear from all parent and guardians of the school community. It would be wonderful for parents and guardians to attend our regular School Council meetings as they involve a valuable exchange of ideas on a number of school specific and general educational matters.

Our School Council will meet the second Wednesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. throughout the school year (in the Learning Commons and/or virtually via Zoom: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/81769970712). Please see the meeting minutes for the next scheduled meeting. Parents can also e-mail the school council at StrembitskySchoolCouncil@gmail.com
