Michael Strembitsky School is full in planned classes in Kindergarten to Grade 9 in the Regular Program. A Kindergarten student who is a resident and lives in the school's attendance area may still register. We will now only accept resident students for Grades 1 to 9 who newly move into the school’s attendance area for the regular program. A resident student of Edmonton Public Schools has at least one parent or legal guardian living in Edmonton who is not Roman Catholic. Non-resident students can enrol in another Division school with space in planned classes.

Information for the 2021-22 School Year:

Michael Strembitsky School is a closed boundary school for the 2021-2022 school year. This means the school is only able to accept new students who live in the school's attendance area, who are resident students of Edmonton Public Schools and is a sibling of current students who will be returning to the school the following year, unless otherwise determined by the Superintendent for a particular school. Parents of these students can register prior to the pre-enrolment deadline of 4 pm on April 15 by submitting a registration package including:

  • a completed, signed Student Registration form
  • legal proof of the student's name and age, and
  • proof of address
Additional documentation may be required, including additional address documents, or immigration documents for students who are not Canadian citizens.

If the student you are registering or pre-enrolling meets one of these criteria for the 2021-2022 school year, please register them online (new students) or pre-enrol through SchoolZone (existing students).

Following the close of pre-enrolment at 4 pm on April 15, 2021, the school will only accept resident students who have newly moved into the attendance area or resident students eligible for Kindergarten.
