Information for the 2021-22 School Year:
Michael Strembitsky School is a closed boundary school for the 2021-2022 school year. This means the school is only able to accept new students who live in the school's attendance area, who are resident students of Edmonton Public Schools and is a sibling of current students who will be returning to the school the following year, unless otherwise determined by the Superintendent for a particular school. Parents of these students can register prior to the pre-enrolment deadline of 4 pm on April 15 by submitting a registration package including:
- a completed, signed Student Registration form
- legal proof of the student's name and age, and
- proof of address
If the student you are registering or pre-enrolling meets one of these criteria for the 2021-2022 school year, please register them online (new students) or pre-enrol through SchoolZone (existing students).
Following the close of pre-enrolment at 4 pm on April 15, 2021, the school will only accept resident students who have newly moved into the attendance area or resident students eligible for Kindergarten.
Please note that Michael Strembitsky School is full in planned classes in Grades 5 to 9. We will accept registrations in these grades only if you are a resident of Edmonton Public Schools and have newly moved into our attendance area after April 15, 2021 . A resident student of Edmonton Public Schools has at least one parent or legal guardian that is non-Roman Catholic and who resides within the City of Edmonton. Non-resident students may only enrol in another Division school with space remaining in planned classes.
